2.2.2 Inspection
Scrum artefacts must be frequently inspected, as well as the progress towards the goals to detect undesirable deviations. To help with inspection, Scrum provides cadence in the form of its five events:
- The Sprint
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Scrum
- Sprint Review
- Sprint Retrospective
Inspection enables adaptation. Inspection without adaptation is considered pointless. Scrum events are designed to provoke change.
